Ten high school students in Rosh Ha'ayin, east of Tel Aviv, are suspected of breaking into a teacher's home and vandalizing it while she was abroad with her family, according to a Monday morning report by the Ma'ariv daily. The vandalism included using the washing machine as a toilet. The boys are also accused of stealing things and running up thousands of shekels on the family's credit cards.
A neighbor who saw the suspects entering and leaving the apartment called police. The teacher returned a few days after the incident.
