Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said, Sunday, there was no conflict between the rule of law and supporting Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria (Shomron). Referring to the removal of Jews from the strategic Binyamin hilltop of Migron during an address at ceremonies for the dedication of the new Central District Court in Lod, southeast of Tel Aviv, he said, "We are committed to the rule of law in the country. It's a clear line that I am leading, including during these sensitive days. We are committed to respecting the rule of law and are committed to encourage the settlement enterprise. There is no contradiction between them."
Netanyahu continued, "I welcome the fact that the matter of Migron, as well as the Ulpena [neighborhood in Beit El -ed.] before it, ended in dialogue [and] responsibility, without violence. That's the way it should be and that's the way it will be."
