A mortar shell was fired by Gaza Arab terrorists at the southern Negev on Sunday morning, The shell hit an open area near one of the Israeli towns in the Gaza border area. The Red Alert siren system operated, providing advance warning for residents to take cover.

No one was injured, and there was no damage to property in the attack.
