Speaking after a meeting with top Egyptian army officials, Hamas top terrorist Ismail Haniyeh said that Hamas would not pose a military threat to Egypt. “We will not let Gaza turn into a security threat,” Haniyeh was quoted as saying by the Ma'an news agency.

Haniyeh added that “Gaza and its residents will not be a source of violence against Egypt.”
