The affair involving Vice President Varda Elsheikh of the Tel Aviv District Court came to an end on Friday when, during a meeting between the heads of the Bar Associations, Elsheikh, and Justice Minister Yaakov Neeman, the parties decided to give up the mutual complaints they filed against one another, and expressed a mutual apology for the affair.
Elsheikh resigned last month as chairwoman of a national group representing judges, after she was accused of having tampered with trial transcripts.
