US: Sanctions Against Suspected Mumbai-Attack Group

It was announced, Thursday, that the United States will impose sanctions on seven heads of the Lashkar-e-Taiba terror organization, which is suspected of carrying out the attacks in Mumbai in 2008, in which more than 160 people were killed, including six people at the city's Chabad House.

In the framework of the sanctions, the assets of the seven leaders will be frozen, including assets belonging to Sajid Mir, suspected of planning the attack. The organization is active against India from Pakistani territory.
