24-Hour Train Service between Tel Aviv and Be'er Sheva'

Starting Saturday night, train service between Tel Aviv and Be'er Sheva will be extended to 24 hours a day. The line will include a stop at Ben-Gurion International Airport between the hours of 11:47 p.m. and 4:47 a.m.

Transportation and Road Safety Minister Yisrael Katz said the extension was made possible by upgrading and doubling the tracks to shorten the travel time between the two cities to 55 minutes. The upgrade has shaved 12 minutes from the 44-minute trip between Tel Aviv and Kiryat Gat.
