The Knesset Immigration, Absorption and Diaspora Committee will discuss the condition of the Chernobyl victims living in Israel Thursday. A few thousand live in Israel.
According to the Law Assisting to Neutralize the Results of the Chenobyl Disaster (2008) the victims receive housing, health and welfare benefits. The committee will assess the implementation of the law.
