Israel's ambassador to the United Nations Ron Prosor sent a harsh letter Wednesday to the UN Secretary General and the UN Security Council regarding the continuing rocket fire from Gaza.
 
In a letter addressed to UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon and representatives of member states of the Security Council, Ambassador Prosor wrote, "while the children of Israel took cover in bomb shelters on their way to school, the UN was busy writing out-of-touch reports about Gaza." He added, "it's clear and simple -- Hamas is responsible for the suffering in Gaza... and Israel will continue to exercise its right to self-defense and will take all necessary measures to protect its citizens."
