The youngest son of Yair and Dalia Har-Sinai will celebrate his Bar Mitzvah soon. Yair Har-Sinai, a farmer and shepherd, was slain by terrorists 11 years ago as he tended his flock in the Hevron region.
Dalia Har-Sinai told Arutz Sheva, “It’s very moving, yesterday David was called to the Torah at the Kotel [Western Wall – ed.]… Yair’s memory will, of course, be in the background throughout.” The celebration will be special as most of the relatives are not religious, “so it needs to be an event that connects people to the occasion," she added.
She noted that David had grown up without his father, but was connected to him through the stories told by his family, including his eight older siblings.
