Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu inaugurated on Tuesday the restored windmill in the Jerusalem neighborhood of Mishkenot Shaananim. The windmill was built in 1858 by Moses Montefiore and became a symbol of the city.

The windmill has been restored with the assistance of the Jerusalem Foundation, donations from Holland, and a legacy program of the Prime Minister’s Office.
