Remand of Bat-Ayin Teens Extended Three Days

The Jerusalem Magistrates Court extended by three days, Monday, the remand of three children ages 12 and 13 from the Judean Jewish community of Bat Ayin, who were arrested, Sunday, on suspicion of involvment in the firebombing of a Palestinian Authority taxi a week and a half ago in the Gush Etzion area. The Samaria-Judea police said the judge noted a significant development in the evidence which made him take a serious view of the incident, in which six occupants of the taxi were injured. The judge could not reveal details of the evidence for fear of jeopardizing the investigation.

The Honenu legal-aid organization said it intends to appeal the decision to the Jerusalem District Court.
