An Israeli envoy visited Cairo on Sunday and discussed with senior security officials in Egypt the latest developments in the Sinai Peninsula, the Egyptian newspaper Al-Ahram reported.
Cairo airport officials said that the Israeli envoy was accompanied by two other Israelis. They returned to Israel on a military plane, the sources said.
