Chairman Uri Ariel of the Knesset State Control Committee toured Jewish outpost communities in Judea and Samaria (Shomron) on Sunday. His last stop was the Binyamin-region community of Migron, which is slated for eviction, Tuesday, unless the Supreme Court rules to the contrary.
Accompanying Member of Knesset Ariel was Rabbi Dov Lior, the rabbi of Kiryat Arba'-Hevron. He told the residents of Migron that many other communities will rise in the land of Israel because of their firm stance. Referring to the Yekev (Vineyard) Hill, to which willing evictees stand to be transferred, Rabbi Lior said, "We are not opposed to the building of another community in Yekev. The more communities in Israel, the better."
