A second factory was damaged in a rocket attack on Sderot Sunday morning. The Red Alert system sounded Sunday morning, and workers in the Sderot industrial zone observed a rocket hit a factory in the area. No one was injured, but the building was damaged. Several minutes later, a second rocket was discovered to have damaged another building in the area, which had been damaged by Kassam rocket fire several months ago.
Israeli officials said they would be on alert for the rest of the day to see if the attacks continue. The school year is set to begin on Monday, and officials expressed hope that students in the south would be able to attend school without delay.
