Britain over the weekend issued a travel warning against its citizens traveling to northern Sinai. The warning also recommends that citizens traveling in Egypt stay away from Cairo's Tahrir Square when demonstrations take place there.
The warning emphasizes that women, especially, should stay away from areas of unrest in Egypt, because of the frequency of sexual assaults among women in Egypt.
