Syrian Ambassador to Jordan: We'll Destroy Dimona

Syrian Ambassador to Jordan, Bahajat Suleiman, said, Thursday, that if his country was attacked by Israel, it could destroy Israel's nuclear facility in Dimona and other strategic sites with just 20 missiles in spite of the heavy losses that Syria would incur. Addressing a gathering of 50 pro-Assad Jordanians at the embassy in Amman, he said the other sites included "seven nuclear power stations, the chemical works near Haifa, ports and fuel warehouses near Tel Aviv." Sliman said Syrian missiles could kill tens of thousands of Israelis and the Iron Dome missile defense system won't help, calling the 2006 Hizbullah war on Israel a rehearsal.
