Turkey is checking the possibility that Iran is behind an attack that killed nine Turkish soldiers on the Syrian border, Monday, according to a Thursday report by the Cable News Network (CNN). Interviewed by CNN's Turkish service, Turkey's deputy prime minister Bulent Aric said authorities were checking the possibility that a foreign government, with an emphasis on Iran, carried out the attack.
At first, Turkey blamed the Kurdish underground, which declared it was not involved.
