American singer Stephen Malkmus will perform Wednesday evening in Tel Aviv. Malkmus was in the rock group Pavement in the 1990s and also played in a band called Silver Jews with lead singer David Berman. A documentary was made of the band's tour in Israel in 2006. Stephen Malkmus and The Jicks will play at the Barby in Tel Aviv on August 22nd.
