Feminist groups are ignoring the rape of Israeli women at the hands of illegal foreign entrants, Zionist Women’s Forum head Tamar Harpaz accused in an interview with Arutz Sheva. Harpaz accused women’s groups and female MKs who normally argue for feminist causes of hushing up a recent brutal rape in Tel Aviv.
Two Eritrean men approached an Israeli woman in downtown Tel Aviv in daytime and told her there was a baby in need of help. When the woman followed them, they dragged her to an abandoned building and raped her, chasing her down and dragging her back when she tried to run.
“Where are the women’s groups that wrote dozens of op-eds attacking soldiers who went to prostitutes, or the general accused of sexual harassment?” she asked. “It doesn’t suit them to talk about a brutal rape by Eritrean criminals, it doesn’t fit their agenda on foreign workers,” she charged.
