Tamir Hajaj has been on a hunger strike for 24 days in protest of what he terms the government’s social injustice. “There are hungry children and poor families and the government is making sure the gaps between rich and poor grow larger, and are trampling the citizens with difficult decrees,” he told Arutz Sheva during a protest Monday outside the Prime Minister’s House in Jerusalem.
Hajaj called on Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu to meet with him. He said he plans to “fight to my last drop of blood.”
