A poll conducted by the religious-Zionist women’s movement Emunah has found that 78% of the Jewish public in Israel would like to see more Jewish content in the school system. Just 22% were opposed to adding more Jewish learning.

The survey found that the vast majority of respondents were able to correctly answer questions on basics of Judaism, including the number of prayers on a weekday (three) and the three festival holidays (Passover, Shavuot and Sukkot). Among secular Israelis 76%-90% answered the questions on Judaism correctly, while among the religious public nearly 100% knew the answers.
