The Legal Forum for the Land of Israel on Monday demanded that the government put forth a position paper to the High Court supporting the right of Jews to live in Migron. The position paper could be submitted to the court as an independent opinion, despite the fact that the State Attorney, which is supposed to represent the state in court cases, earlier Monday said that it supported the eviction of Jews from their homes, even though they purchased the land their homes are built on.

The Legal Forum sharply criticized the government for allowing the State Attorney to contravene the Knesset's and the government's position on Jews being permitted to remain in their homes, saying that it constituted “legal anarchy and a putsch against the government which must be put to an end.”
