Turkish FM: Limit of 100,000 Syrian Refugees

Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said Monday that his country would cap the number of refugees from Syria at 100,000. Currently, there are about 70,000 refugees in the country.

Davutoglu recommended that the UN set up a buffer zone within Syria to care for refugees. The UN, he said, had the authority under international law to establish refugee camps in safe zones it establishes, even within Syrian territory.
