New Initiative: Donkey Surfing

Kfar Kedem in the Lower Galilee is introducing 21st-century technology to its Mishnaic times experience. Visitors to the site can surf the internet while riding on donkeys. Site manager Menachem Goldberg says, "A wireless router is available to travelers on the trails of the Lower Galilee on the way toward Tzipori and hills of Nazareth. Executives can make decisions on investments in global stock exchanges and perform them while riding. Others can upload pictures on social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter as well as sending email and photos . This is a connection to the present via the past which is revealed through the various gates of Kfar Kedem."

While at Kfar Kedem, one can also ride donkeys without surfing the internet, extract olive oil, milk animals and make cheese, bake bread and stomp grapes.
