Report: Omri Casspi Leaving Cleveland

The Cleveland Cavaliers of North America's National Basketball Association (NBA) are going to buy out Israeli forward Omri Casspi's contract, according to a Cleveland television station. The apparently mutual parting of the ways should free up some cash that the team can use to fill other holes on the roster.

Casspi had a below-average year in 65 games with the Cavs last season, including 35 starts. He became the first Israeli in the NBA as a draft pick of Sacramento, where he qualified for the rookie team during the league's All-Star weekend.
