The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Gen. Martin Dempsey, said on Sunday that he opposes imposing a no-fly zone over Syria.

“The establishment of such a zone would hurt our forces in the Persian Gulf, and we do not have enough forces to enforce a no-fly zone in Syria,” Dempsey told reporters on his way to Afghanistan.
