New Ark Curtain in Memory of Burgas Victims

A service was held last weekend in the Chabad House of Bulgaria's Sun Coast, in memory of the five Israelis killed in a suicide bombing about a month ago. Taking part were local Chabad emissaries and dozens of Israeli tourists who learned portions of Talmud for the ascent of the victims' souls.

The study session opened with the hanging of a new curtain for the Ark, donated by Rabbi Shmuel Minsky of the Kaftor Veferach (Button and Flower) company,  on which were embroidered the names of the five victims: Yitzchak Kolangi, Amir Menashe, Maor Harush, Elior Preis and Kochava Shriki. Memorial candles were lit and the afternoon service was prayed before the studying of Mishnayot.
