Homefront Command Rescue Drill in Ashkelon Monday

The Homefront Command of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has scheduled an exercise, Monday, in which rescue forces will practice removing people trapped in a building on Avraham Blasberg Street in Ashkelon. A platoon from the "Kedem" search and rescue brigade will take part.

The Spokesperson's Office of the IDF stressed that the drill was scheduled, in advance, as part of the annual training plan for 2012. More information can be found at the Homefront Command's Website: www.oref.org.il or telephone 1207.
