Two white-mantled Tamarin monkeys were recently born at the Jerusalem Biblical zoo, reports Kol Yisrael radio.

In the wild , this species of Tamarin is indigenous to Columbia and are among the rarest in the world. According to the International Union for the Conservation of Nature, only some 6,000 white-mantled Tamarins remain in the wild, and are at risk of extinction.
