A 19-year-old from Hadera is accused of setting a speed camera on fire last month on Highway 4. The young man apparently wished to destroy the camera in order to prevent his girlfriend from getting a ticket for speeding.

He was arrested Wednesday, and will be taken to court Thursday for a hearing on the extension of his remand.
