The prices of milk, eggs and chicken will rise by the end of the year, according to a Ministry of Agriculture report. The report comes shortly after an increase of more than 6% in the price of bread.
Ministry officials said milk would become 13% more expensive, eggs, 17% more, and chicken, 14% more. The expected price hikes will result from a worldwide increase in the price of food in wake of droughts, they said.
