Ben-Eliezer: The Army is Ready For Iran

Former Defense Minister Benyamin Ben-Eliezer told an Israeli TV news program on Tuesday that the Israel Defense Force is ready for any possibility in regards to Iran. "The question is whether Israel can attack Iran without United States coordination," he stated. "A response from the other side [Iran] should also be considered, and it is very possible that this would be a painful response," Ben-Eliezer warned.

Iran's government has repeatedly threatened Israel. While Israelis leaders disagree on military response verse more sanctions, Ben-Eleizer expressed confidence in Israel's fortitude.
