Rabbi Mordechai Zev Wolfson passed away at the age of 83 in the New York area. He was a philanthropist who for decades helped support numerous institutions of Jewish learning. A memorial ceremony will be held Tuesday at Yeshiva Sho’r Yoshuv, in Lawrence, New York. Born in Poland, Rabbi Wolfson moved to New York and became a successful real estate developer.
