Tens of thousands of people are expected to attend the annual Tzfat Klezmer Festival to be held in the northern city of Tzfat. The festival celebrates klezmer music, the traditional music of the Eastern European Jewish people which also took on a life of its own in Israel, particularly in Tzfat. Traditional and modern music will be featured including well-known Israeli acts such as Yonatan Razael, Mirel Reznik, Aharon Razel, Eyal Shiluah, Erez Lev-Ari, Daniel Zamir, Musa Berlin, Jimmy Lloyd, the Klezmiriot and others from around the world. Tours of the city known as the birthplace of Kabbalah will be given. Children's events will take place. Following the festival, a masters class taught by famous klezmer musicians Giora Feidman and Hanan Bar Sela will take place.
