Court Rejects Petition by Zvi Struk

The High Court has rejected a petition by Zvi Sitruck, son of Orit Struk of the Yesha Human Rights Council, against a sentence that was imposed on him in the case of alleged mistreatment of an Arab. As a result, the Shilo resident will serve 30 months in prison.

The incident took place some five years ago, when an Arab youth was hospitalized after allegedly being beaten. The beating was blamed on Struk, who denied the charges and said he had been set up by local Arabs. He was convicted of kidnapping and mistreating the 15 year old Arab in 2010.
