A bus full of passengers came close to sliding down a 30-meter drop on Sunday. The incident took place near the Knesset Hizkayahu yeshiva in Rechesim.
The terrified passengers called to the driver to open the doors and call emergency responders. The driver managed to stop the bus at the last second. One person suffered a head injury, and was taken to Rambam Hospital in Haifa in light condition.
“I don’t want to think of what the result could have been if the bus had continued to roll downward,” said local first responder Naftali Rottenberg.
