Government Secretary Att. Tzvika Hauser told reporters at a media briefing following the changes made to government regulations that “The regulations have been sporadically changed asince 1948, and we decided to finally make some orderly updates. No fateful decision changes have been made.”
All ministers voted in favor of the changes aside from Ministers Simchon, Lieberman and Aharonovich.
