Tiberias Mayor Zohar Oved was seriously injured in a car accident on Highway 90, south of Tiberias, on Thursday night.
The accident occurred when Oved hit a van. He was taken to the Poriya Hospital in Tiberias. The driver of the van was also seriously injured and was taken to the Rambam Hospital in Haifa.
