Egyptian investigators have identified those who attacked Egyptian and Israeli forces near Gaza, Sunday evening, as members of the Army of Islam, according to a Thursday report by the Qatari Website Bawaba Ash-Sharq. The investigators say 12-14 terrorists went to an Egyptian position near the Gaza-border city of Rafah, opened fire on soldiers, killing 15 at the site while making a video of the murder.
They then forced an Egyptian to drive them in an armored personnel carrier (APC) toward the Kerem Shalom Crossing, shooting him to death a kilometer into the trip. A fourth vehicle, which came near Kerem Shalom, contained another 8-10 terrorists, armed with explosives belts. Leaving the driver behind, they went into the APC. When the APC broke down, three terrorists set off their explosives. The fourth vehicle and another APC were blown up by the Israel Air Force.
