Liver Donation in the Nick of Time

Only hours before 3-year-old Shahab’s uncle generously donated a compatible liver node for his survival, a family called with news of a fully functioning liver they wished to donate. The fortuitous transplant took place on Wednesday, and Shahab is in the Schneider Medical Center ICU in stable condition.
