The maintenance man at the school where a basketball hoop fell on 15-year-old Alon Ronen and killed him on Tuesday said that he warned more than a year and a half ago that the hoop was rotten.
The maintenance man told Channel 2 News that he turned to several people in the school’s administration and told them that the hoop should be replaced but that nothing was done. “Whoever says he didn’t know about it, is not telling the truth,” he stressed.
