New Israeli Board Game Promotes Entrepreneurial Spirit

Two Israeli entrepreneurs Ronen Gafni and Simcha Gluck have released a board called FreshBiz. The game is similar to Monopoly, but for the internet age. The new game incorporates such business models as "collaboration, win-win, adaptability, creativity, and multi-dimensional thinking," the creators stated. Commenting on the current state of the economy, Gafni said, "people are feeling stuck because they are playing a new [global] game but using old rules and an old set of skills to play." They hope the game will teach entrepreneurs how to develop new strategies and business models. Seminars in various countries including Israel have taken place where the game has been played by young business leaders. An online version of the game for computers and model devises is currently in development.
