Attorney Dr. Chaim Katz, who is involved in the field of wills and inheritance, has turned to Justice Minister Yaakov Neeman and urged him to reform inheritance laws. There are more than 150 bills in Knesset with proposed changes to laws regarding inheritance.

Katz noted that he has been involved in the field for more than 25 years, and said he believes the law must be updated “in accordance with technological developments.” One major issue is advanced fertility treatment, he said, particularly the use of frozen eggs or sperm belonging to the deceased, and inheritance by children born using frozen eggs of sperm of a deceased person.
