The Syrian army has announced that it has arrested a Turkish general who commanded rebel forces in Aleppo, according to a Sunday report by Iran's Fars news agency.
A Syrian source told the news agency that the general was arrested during fighting in Aleppo and was taken to Damascus for questioning.
