Member of Knesset Zevulun Orlev (Bayit Yehudi-New National Religious Party) was very lightly injured, Sunday evening, in an auto accident in the Gilo section of Jerusalem. Orlev went to Sha'arei Tzedek Hospital in Jerusalem, under his own power, to be examined. He said afterword that there was no immediate sign of damage but that he would stay for observation and expressed hope that he would be released during the evening and be able to return to his routine on Monday.
Orlev said his car was broadsided by a vehicle that ran a red light and that he took a blow like none he had ever experienced. He thanked Heaven that he miraculously escaped from the accident, which could have ended tragically.
