It was reported, Sunday evening, that a hostile vehicle from Gaza penetrated Israeli territory in the Kerem Shalom area, where Gaza, Israel and Egypt meet. There were also reports of an exchange of gunfire. No casualties were reported. Coupled with reports of mortar fire on the Eshkol Council region, residents were told to stay in their homes or safe areas and civilian travel was prohibited on Highway 232.
