The Forum for Equality in the Burden of Service reacted, Sunday, to the Israel Defense Forces' plans for inducting hareidi-religious Jews by saying, "Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has run away, again, from making a decision, leaving the work to the IDF. We doubt that the IDF can produce a real program without legislation and the guidance of the prime minister and the defense minister."
A statement by the group continued, "The plan that the IDF is formulating begins with relatives who see induction as a source of income. The move should begin with the induction of 18-year-olds with high recruitment potential. We demand setting a deadline for inducting yeshiva students, with reference to civilian service, since it is clear that not all of them will be inducted into the army."
