IDF: Airstrike Targeted June 18th Terrorist

The Spokesperson's Office of the Israel Defense Forces said, Sunday afternoon, that the terror cell hit during an air strike on southern Gaza belonged to the World Jihad organization. Citing the joint effort by the Air Force and the Shabak (Shin Bet) Israel Security Agency, an IDF statement said one of the terrorists in the cell was 22-year-old Ahmad Said Ismail of Tafah Gaza, who was active in the organization in Gaza and the Sinai Peninsula, and took part in the June 18th shooting on the Israeli-Egyptian border, in which an Israeli citizen working for the Defense Ministry was murdered.
