Israeli soldier Ya'akov Tomarkin finished seventh in the 200-meter backstroke at the Olympics, Thursday evening. His Israeli record time in the semifinal was the eighth best qualifying time. Shachar Tzuberi and three other Israeli windsurfers were disqualified in Thursday's competition.
